United Martial Arts Academy Membership Terms and Conditions

1. Membership Fees:

1.1. By enrolling in United Martial Arts Academy, you agree to pay the specified membership fees, as outlined in the membership agreement.

2. Payment Schedule:

2.1. Membership fees are payable monthly in advance and are non-refundable.

2.2. The membership price, as set by United Martial Arts Academy, includes consideration for bank holidays and accommodates a scheduled closure of two weeks in August and two weeks in December.

3. Bank Holidays and Closures:

3.1. United Martial Arts Academy will be closed on recognized public holidays.

3.2. The Academy will be closed for a period of two weeks in August and two weeks in December for maintenance and staff training.

3.3. Closure dates for August and December will be communicated to members in advance.

4. Membership Suspension:

4.1. Members may not suspend their membership during the specified closure periods in August and December.

4.2. Members may request a temporary suspension for reasons other than gym closures, subject to approval by United Martial Arts Academy.  Suspension requests must be submitted in writing at least two weeks in advance.

5. Membership Termination:

5.1. Memberships can be terminated by providing written notice at least 30 days before the intended termination date.

5.2. No refunds will be issued for membership fees paid in advance, even if the member chooses to terminate their membership before the end of the paid period.

6. Code of Conduct:

6.1. Members are expected to adhere to the United Martial Arts Academy's code of conduct, promoting a positive and respectful environment for all participants.

6.2. Failure to comply with the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership, at the United Martial Arts Academy code.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

7.1. United Martial Arts Academy code reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions with prior notice to members.

7.2. Members will be notified of any changes to the terms and conditions via email or posted notices within the Academy premises.

8. Governing Law:

8.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the UK, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the UK. By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms and conditions outlined above.
